Here, the delegates attending with the bride and groom respectfully offered flowers and observed a moment of silence, expressing deep gratitude and commemorating the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the nation.

2025 marks the 15th time the Mass Wedding Ceremony program has been organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Workers Support Center in coordination with other units. The 50 couples participating in this year's program are officials, employees, teachers, demobilized soldiers, young workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances who are working in industrial parks, export processing zones, agencies, units, schools, businesses or in unions in Ho Chi Minh City. These are couples who have registered to get married but have not had the conditions to hold a wedding.

Since 2007, the program has supported 1,206 couples of young workers and laborers in difficult circumstances to have a complete and meaningful wedding ceremony.

After the flower offering ceremony, couples participated in the parade by public transport such as river bus and Metro line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien), moving to the wedding center in Hiep Binh ward.

Comrade Le Hoang Minh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Workers Support Center, said that there are many creative activities to enhance the beauty of the program, such as: launching the "Wedding Service Support Point for Workers" to provide consultation, support in planning, access to subsidized and free wedding services; organizing the "Journey of Happiness" associated with the proud space of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025);...

By participating in the program, couples are supported with wedding costumes, wedding photos, and gate photos; makeup, filming, and photography. Couples also receive wedding cakes, wedding rings, and other gifts from sponsors.

Speaking at the program, comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, wished the families of the couples always filled with laughter, efforts to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives; work enthusiastically, build a warm and happy family, contribute to the development of the unit, hometown and country.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City emphasized that the family is the cell of society, the first place to nurture and form human personality, transmit cultural values and is where people find stability to participate and contribute to society.

"Therefore, for the 50 young couples today, to maintain a lasting marriage and a happy family, you must always love, respect, be faithful, share responsibilities in family life and raise children," said comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh.

Ms. Pham Thi Linh (born in 1991) and Mr. Pham Dinh Thang (born in 1990) have two young children: a 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. Ms. Linh currently works at a company in Tan Uyen ward (HCMC), while Mr. Thang is a construction worker, struggling to make a living every day. They met 5 years ago and registered their marriage in 2021, but due to difficult circumstances, they have never had a proper wedding ceremony.
“Today, my husband and I woke up early, carried our child to the meeting point at 3am to do our makeup and get ready. We also got to ride the river bus, it was our first time so we were a little seasick but it was a lot of fun, it will be an unforgettable memory in our lives,” Linh said with a smile.
