At the fair, Hanoi Art House gallery (UK) and ArtBlue Studio (Singapore) exhibited lacquer, oil and acrylic paintings by artists Thanh Chuong, Phuong Binh, Bui Trong Du, Hoang Duc Dung, Le Thanh Son, Duong Sen, Nguyen Lam, Phuong Quoc Tri, Lieu Nguyen Huong Duong, Bui Van Hoan, Nguyen Manh Hung, Hoang Tuan and Phan Thu Trang, impressing collectors and buyers of British and foreign paintings.

Ms. Hoa Angie, Director of Hanoi Art House, an art gallery specializing in introducing Vietnamese art, said that Vietnamese paintings, especially lacquer paintings, are now more widely known to the British public through exhibitions and fairs such as the Affordable Art Fair.

Affordable Art Fair is a prestigious annual international art trade fair in the UK, founded in 1999 with the aim of bringing art closer to the public, creating a space for everyone, including families with young children, to come and have fun, enjoy and buy works of art at affordable prices.

The fair also ensures that at least 30% of participating galleries are from abroad, and creates opportunities for new businesses and emerging young artists to exhibit and sell their work.

According to Mr. Hugo Barclay, Director of the fair, this year's Affordable Art Fair is held for the second time to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Featuring more than 100 galleries from across the UK and 17 countries, the fair showcased thousands of contemporary artworks, attracting 25,000 visitors.

The works on display at the fair cover a wide range of art forms, from painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking to multimedia art, with prices ranging from a few hundred pounds to thousands of pounds, to suit the diverse needs of collectors and art buyers.

The event also includes art exhibitions, workshops, art tours, discussions and exchanges to update contemporary art trends, creating a good opportunity for international artists, painters and photographers to connect and promote national art.

Mr. Hugo Barclay said the fair is an opportunity for the British public to explore art from around the world , including Vietnam, pointing out that Hanoi Art House's participation in the fair for the past 10 years reflects the British people's interest in Vietnamese art.

According to Mr. Barclay, the UK is a promising market for foreign paintings, including Vietnam, citing fair statistics over many years showing the high demand of British people in accessing, exploring and purchasing foreign works of art.
