At the fair, Hanoi Art House (UK) and ArtBlue Studio (Singapore) displayed lacquer paintings, oil paintings, acrylic paintings, and other artworks by artists Thanh Chuong, Phuong Binh, Bui Trong Du, Hoang Duc Dung, Le Thanh Son, Duong Sen, Nguyen Lam, Phuong Quoc Tri, Lieu Nguyen Huong Duong, Bui Van Hoan, Nguyen Manh Hung, Hoang Tuan, and Phan Thu Trang, impressing collectors and art buyers from the UK and abroad.

Ms. Hoa Angie, Director of Hanoi Art House, a gallery specializing in showcasing Vietnamese art, said that Vietnamese paintings, especially lacquer paintings, are now more widely known to the British public through exhibitions and fairs such as the Affordable Art Fair.

Affordable Art Fair is a prestigious annual international art trade fair in the UK, established in 1999 with the goal of bringing art closer to the public, creating a space where everyone, including families with young children, can come to have fun, enjoy, appreciate, and purchase works of art at affordable prices.

The fair also ensures that at least 30% of participating galleries are from abroad, and creates opportunities for new businesses and emerging young artists to exhibit and sell their works.

According to Hugo Barclay, the fair's director, this year's Affordable Art Fair is being held for the second time to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

With participation from over 100 galleries across the UK and 17 countries, the fair showcased thousands of contemporary art pieces and attracted 25,000 visitors.

The works on display at the fair encompass a wide range of art forms, from painting, sculpture, photography, and printmaking to multimedia art, with prices ranging from a few hundred pounds to thousands of pounds, catering to the diverse needs of collectors and art buyers.

The event also includes art exhibitions, workshops, art tours, exchanges, and discussions to update on contemporary art trends, creating a good opportunity for international artists, painters, and photographers to connect and promote national art.

Hugo Barclay stated that the fair is an opportunity for the British public to discover art from around the world , including Vietnam, noting that Hanoi Art House's participation in the fair for the past 10 years reflects the growing interest of the British people in Vietnamese art.

According to Barclay, the UK is a promising market for foreign art, including from Vietnam, citing statistics from art fairs over the years showing high demand among Britons for accessing, exploring , and purchasing foreign artwork.
