Giving 900 gifts to Quang Ngai people

QNgTV- On the evening of November 9, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province, Nguyen Thi Anh Lan, received 900 gifts given to the people of Quang Ngai from monks, nuns, and Buddhists of the Truc Lam Zen Monasteries of Vietnam, Cat Long Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Hai Phong City) and Hong Van Hotel Joint Stock Company (Quang Ninh Province).

The delegation presented 900 gifts including cash and necessities, totaling 1 billion 350 million VND, to people in many localities in the province that suffered heavy losses due to natural disasters. Expressing the desire to join hands and support the people of Quang Ngai to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and restore production.

Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Thi Anh Lan respectfully thanked the sentiments and sharing of monks, nuns, Buddhists of the Truc Lam Zen Monasteries of Vietnam and businesses who promptly turned to Quang Ngai in difficult times.

The recent floods have caused serious flooding and landslides in many areas, especially in mountainous communes of Quang Ngai province. The floods following storm No. 13 have caused heavy damage to houses, traffic works, public works, schools, health care , crops and livestock. The lives of people in flood and storm-hit areas have encountered many difficulties. The timely attention and support of organizations and individuals is a great source of encouragement, helping the people of Quang Ngai to be more confident, quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters and move forward in life.
