Awarding the Decision to appoint comrade Truong Thanh Hoai to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade

Attending the appointment ceremony, on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade were Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long, Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, and leaders of various units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Comrade Truong Thanh Hoai was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade from June 21, 2024, by Decision No. 555/QD-TTg signed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh . The appointment term is 5 years, and the decision takes effect from the date of signing.

At the Decision-awarding ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien congratulated the new Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai and emphasized that this was an event the Ministry of Industry and Trade had been waiting for. This is because, in the past three years, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has only had a leader who rose through the ranks from the functional departments, divisions, and institutes of the Ministry.

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien acknowledged that since working at various units within the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, professional expertise, competence, responsibility, and political integrity, earning the trust of the collectives where he has worked. Minister Nguyen Hong Dien expressed his hope that the new Deputy Minister, Truong Thanh Hoai, will strive even harder to fulfill the tasks assigned by the Minister of Industry and Trade. “To successfully complete the tasks, individual effort alone is not enough; it requires the collective support and solidarity of the team,” Minister Nguyen Hong Dien shared, and he hoped that in his new position, Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai would build upon his strengths and achievements, maintain his political integrity and unwavering resolve, and continuously strive to improve his professional skills to help the Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade successfully fulfill the tasks entrusted by the Party, the State, the Government, and the people.

In his acceptance speech, the new Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai expressed his gratitude to the Central Party Secretariat and the Party Committee of the Government for giving him this opportunity to advance in his career and continue contributing to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. He also expressed his sincere thanks to the central ministries and agencies for their impartial implementation of regulations regarding the review and assessment of personnel dossiers, which enabled them to advise competent authorities on completing the appointment process. “I especially extend my heartfelt thanks to the Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for considering and selecting me to participate in the work of the Ministry, as well as for their encouragement and support during this time. This is in addition to the contributions of the collective of civil servants and employees of the Department of Industry and the support and assistance from the leadership of units under the Ministry,” shared the new Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai.

Responding to the directives of the Party Committee Secretary, the Minister of Industry and Trade, and the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, the Deputy Minister affirmed that, with his new responsibilities, he will always strive to learn and fulfill his assigned duties. He also pledged to strictly adhere to the assignments given to him by the Party Committee and the Ministry's leadership, working together in unity and solidarity to successfully complete the tasks assigned to the industry and trade sector by the Party and the State.
