Hands-on vivo V60: Competing with OPPO Reno14, iPhone 16e

(Dan Tri) - Vivo V60 is the company's latest phone model in the mid-high-end segment. Compared to the previous version launched at the beginning of the year, this device has many improvements in performance and camera.

The vivo V60 is finished with a sturdy metal frame and a frosted glass back that helps reduce fingerprints during use. The four edges and corners are all curved, providing a comfortable grip.

The camera cluster of the device is also designed more compactly. On this product, vivo continues to cooperate with Zeiss to refine the camera system and image quality.

The device's camera system includes a 50MP main lens, a 50MP telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP super wide-angle lens.

On the front, the device has a 50MP selfie camera and supports many beauty features.

The vivo V60 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with up to 512GB of storage. The chip offers 27% better CPU performance, 30% better GPU performance, and 26% better gaming experience than its predecessor. It also features a vapor chamber cooling system to maintain stable performance during use.

Quick test with Antutu Benchmark software, vivo V60 reached more than 950,000 points. The device can handle popular games like Lien Quan Mobile and PUBG Mobile at 60fps with high graphics settings.

The battery that comes with the device has a capacity of 6,500mAh, supporting fast charging with a capacity of 90W.

The device's screen is 6.77 inches in size, using an AMOLED panel with Full HD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This screen is also curved to the edges, providing a smooth swiping experience. However, this design will make it more difficult for users to find screen protectors.

vivo V60 is installed on Funtouch OS 15 operating system based on Android 15 platform. In addition, the device also meets IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance standards, allowing users to rest assured to use the device in many different environmental conditions.

In the same segment, this device will compete with some rivals such as OPPO Reno14, iPhone 16e or Honor 400. It is expected that vivo V60 will launch in the Vietnamese market at the end of August.
