Launching 2 free tours in "Journey to discover Bac Ninh heritage land"

NDO - Starting from the morning of March 8, Bac Ninh province will organize two free tours to serve the people and tourists to have real experiences at tourist attractions, traditional craft villages, and typical historical-cultural relics in the area; at the same time, promote tourist destinations, arouse national pride and unique cultural traditions of the locality.

According to Plan 438/KH-SVHTTDL issued by the Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the afternoon of March 7th, the province will organize free tours (sample tours) in 2025.

Specifically:

Tour 1: Bac Ninh Museum - But Thap Pagoda - Dau Pagoda - Dong Ho Painting Village - Do Temple - Nam Hong Royal Museum - Bac Ninh Museum.

Tour 2: Bac Ninh Museum - Phat Tich Pagoda - Kinh Duong Vuong Mausoleum - Phu Lang Pottery Village - Nguyen Cao Temple - Dien Quang Pagoda - Bac Ninh Museum.

The event will be held on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from March 8, 2025, until the end of June 2025. Daily departure times are from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

The buses will pick up guests at the starting point at the Bac Ninh Museum (2 Ly Thai To Street, Suoi Hoa Ward, Bac Ninh City). The vehicles are high-quality 45-seater buses. Each tour has 2 buses per day (4 trips per day).

Previously, on March 5th, at the meeting of the Chairman and Vice-Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and the regular monthly meeting of the Provincial People's Committee held on the morning of March 7th, the Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Vuong Quoc Tuan, directed relevant departments to advise the province on organizing two free sample tours to inspire, guide, and encourage travel businesses to exploit cultural heritage and traditional art elements to develop tourism products.

In addition, support will be provided to 14 tourist destinations in the province to standardize environmental sanitation equipment and facilities, as well as to standardize the signage system to ensure environmental hygiene and contribute to improving the landscape of the destinations. Free Wi-Fi will be installed, and tourist information stations will be set up at 14 tourist destinations in the province and key historical sites.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province also assigned the Department of Construction to research and propose a pilot bus route connecting Hanoi (Long Bien Bridge) to typical tourist destinations in the province. In coordination with the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities, they are to advise on the arrangement of bus routes (free buses) and implement the theme "Journey to Discover Bac Ninh's Heritage Region" to support local people and tourists in visiting typical historical and cultural sites in the province.
