At the event introducing winter tourism cultural products and promoting the destination of Jilin City (China) in Hanoi, Mr. Truong Vy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of Jilin City, highly appreciated the potential of the Vietnamese tourism market. In recent years, the number of Vietnamese tourists traveling to China has grown impressively.
Jilin City also designed five winter tourism products specifically for the Vietnamese market, from powder skiing experiences to snow and ice tours that evoke the feeling of being lost in a fairyland.

According to Mr. Truong Vy, the ice and snow in Jilin are ranked together with the sea of clouds of Hoang Son, the sunrise at Thai Son and the tide in Trieu Duong as "Four Great Meteorological Wonders of China". Coming to Jilin, visitors can experience the cold below -20 degrees. On the surface of the Song Hoa River, the water vapor does not freeze, and when it is cold, it turns into ice flowers among the willows and pine trees, creating a beautiful scene.
"Jilin uses ice and snow as a bridge, we sincerely invite Vietnamese tourists to experience the beauty of the northeastern mountains here," said Mr. Vy.

Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, highly appreciated Jilin's efforts in choosing Hanoi as a promotional destination in the context of the two countries aiming to celebrate the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations and the year of humanities exchange in 2025.
He recognized that cultural exchange and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and China are built on a foundation of long-term stability and future orientation.
According to Mr. Ha Van Sieu, the Chinese market is recovering strongly. In the first 10 months of this year, Vietnam welcomed more than 4.3 million Chinese visitors, an increase of 43.7% over the same period last year, bringing China back to the position of the largest tourist sending market.
The Deputy Director affirmed that this creates a favorable basis to promote seasonal tourist exchanges, when Vietnam's blue sea attracts Chinese tourists in the cold season and Jilin offers ice and snow experiences to Vietnamese tourists.
Mr. Sieu also proposed that the two sides continue to strengthen exchange and promotion activities in the context that the cultural and tourism agencies of the two countries have signed many cooperation agreements.
He encouraged airlines to study opening direct flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Jilin, especially charter flights to serve the snow tourism season.
He also emphasized the organization of survey teams of travel agencies and the press as an important condition for creating high-quality products.
“The Vietnam National Tourism Administration is always ready to accompany Jilin in promoting, connecting businesses and developing products so that Vietnamese tourists have more opportunities to experience the beauty of Jilin and Chinese tourists can better understand Vietnam as a safe, friendly and attractive destination,” said the Deputy Director.
