On the morning of June 8, a working delegation of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, inspected and grasped the situation of Party and political work (CTĐ, CTCT) and the results of some aspects of work in the first 6 months of 2023 at the Da Nang City Military Command.
The delegation included Major General Vu Cong Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Personnel, Deputy Inspector; leaders of functional agencies of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Military Region 5.

In the first 6 months of 2023, the Party Committee and the Military Command of Da Nang City actively and proactively coordinated with agencies, departments, branches, unions and local Party committees and authorities to advise the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee to lead, direct, thoroughly grasp and comprehensively implement the Party's viewpoints, guidelines and strategies on military, national defense and Fatherland protection. The city's armed forces strictly implemented the orders and directives of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 5 on combat readiness tasks; coordinated with other forces to grasp, forecast, correctly assess the situation, promptly handle situations, maintain political security and social order and safety. Agencies and units closely followed the tasks, plans and practical situations, comprehensively and effectively implemented CTĐ and CTCT activities.

Speaking at the inspection, along with acknowledging and praising the results achieved in the first 6 months of 2023, the Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army requested the Da Nang City Military Command to continue to promote its strengths, focus on overcoming limitations and shortcomings to maintain and further improve the quality of performing the tasks of the city's Military Command in the coming time. According to its functions and tasks, the Party Committee and the Da Nang City Military Command need to proactively grasp, forecast, and correctly assess the situation, clearly understand the tasks; promptly advise and propose to Da Nang City and Military Region 5 policies and solutions to carry out local defense and military tasks; regularly review, supplement, perfect and organize training to master combat readiness plans, avoid being passive and surprised.
The Party Committee and the Military Command of Da Nang City need to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement Resolution No. 05-NQ/TW of the Politburo (13th tenure), Resolution No. 230-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission on the organization of the Vietnam People's Army for the period 2021-2030 and the following years; Resolution No. 1659-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission on improving the quality of training for the period 2023-2030 and the following years; focus on strictly maintaining the training and drill regime; improve the quality of regular construction, strengthen discipline management, ensure the safety of agencies and units, contributing to building a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical". Along with that, the Party Committee and the Military Command of Da Nang City need to actively innovate the content and form, improve the quality of political education work, and strictly manage ideology; Focus on building exemplary Party committees and organizations; strictly comply with the principles of Party organization and activities; strictly implement regulations and rules on personnel work and internal political protection work; improve the quality and effectiveness of Party organization and political protection activities in tasks, especially training and combat readiness; build discipline and manage discipline...
