Before joining CAHN with a 3-year contract, Ly Duc was promoted to the HAGL first team to play in the V-League. At the national team level, the player born in 2003 was called up by coach Kim Sang Sik to both the U23 team and the Vietnam national team.
At the 2025 Southeast Asian tournament, Ly Duc played an important role in the defense of Vietnam U23 , contributing to helping coach Kim Sang Sik's team win the regional tournament for the third consecutive time.
