In Van Ha commune (Phuc Tho district), Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Quang Duc visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Doan Thi Be (born in 1922), whose husband is Nguyen Van Phuc - a martyr fighting against the French and whose son is Nguyen Minh Tan - a martyr fighting against the Americans.

Next, in Hat Mon commune (Phuc Tho district), the Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Nguyen Quang Duc, visited and presented gifts to veteran Nguyen Hoang Luong (born in 1934), a Warrant Officer of Company 350, Regiment 76. During the resistance war, veteran Nguyen Hoang Luong participated in protecting Hanoi Television Station during its evacuation to Thach That district. After the war, Mr. Luong returned to participate in labor and production in his locality.

At the families' homes, the Head of the Hanoi City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, Nguyen Quang Duc, cordially inquired about their health and expressed gratitude for the contributions of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Doan Thi Be and veteran Nguyen Hoang Luong to the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland. He also hoped that the families would uphold their traditions and continue to contribute to building a more civilized, prosperous, and beautiful Hanoi in general and Phuc Tho district in particular.
Heroic Vietnamese Mother Doan Thi Be and veteran Nguyen Hoang Luong expressed their deep gratitude for the attention and appreciation shown by the Party, the State, the Party Committee, the city and local authorities towards the families of those who have rendered meritorious services. The families stated that they will continue to uphold the tradition to build prosperous and happy families and contribute to the development of their homeland.
