The Admissions Council of the University of Technology (VNU) has just met and decided on the minimum admission score for 2025 as follows:

- Computer and information technology, artificial intelligence (AI) industries: the threshold to ensure input quality is 24 points.

- For the remaining industries: the threshold score to ensure input quality is 22.

In 2025, the total enrollment target of the University of Technology (VNU) is 4,020, an increase of 1,060 targets compared to 2024.

This year, the school enrolls students in 20 training majors. Among them, there are new majors being added to the enrollment, including: Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering Technology oriented towards microchip design; Materials Technology (Material Technology and Microelectronics program); Data Science (Data Science and Engineering program); Biotechnology (Biological Engineering Technology program).

Among the majors, the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering major selects more students to study in the Microcircuit Design major after the first year of study.

The school said that from 2026, it is expected that the school will not enroll students in the D01 group.

In 2025, the University of Technology will use 4 admission methods, eliminating the admission method based on international English certificates (IELTS, TOEFL) combined with the scores of 2 subjects Math and Physics in the high school graduation exam in 2024.

Specifically, the 4 admission methods in 2025 include: Direct admission; Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; Admission based on the scores of the Capacity Assessment exam organized by VNU; Admission based on SAT scores.
