Eastern University of Technology launched the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign

(DN) - Mr. Vo Hien Vinh, Secretary of the Youth Union, President of the Student Association of Eastern University of Technology (Dau Giay commune) said: From July 22 to August 5, the Green Summer volunteer team of the school will be deployed in Xuan Hoa commune.

Here, the school's volunteer team carried out a project to light up 25 lamp posts in the countryside, worth 50 million VND; participated in supporting the operation of the local government at 2 levels. At the same time, they organized summer activities for children; gave gifts to children in difficult circumstances; launched an environmental clean-up campaign, planted flowers along the roads; organized visits and gave gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, etc.

In addition, the School Union and Association established a team of Green Shirt Tutors to teach English for free to students in charity classes in Gia Kiem commune.
