In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Artillery Officer School actively and proactively implemented reforms to improve the quality of education and training with the motto "The quality of training at the school is the combat readiness of the units." The school successfully implemented the training program, achieving good results in all courses; and successfully completed training programs for the armies of Laos and Cambodia.

A highlight is that the school has actively innovated teaching methods and approaches; improved the quality of practical training for students according to training objectives; and successfully completed drills with absolute safety. In the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years, the school organized a one-sided, one-level command and staff drill in conjunction with a drill for graduating students, achieving good results and drawing many lessons learned in organizing and conducting drills.

Furthermore, the school always prioritizes strengthening and improving the quality of its teaching staff and educational management personnel (in the past academic year, the school had one additional person who met the standards for the title of Associate Professor; nine people were recognized as senior lecturers, and 22 people were recognized as excellent lecturers at the grassroots level). The school strengthens the application of information technology and digital transformation in teaching and training management; actively fosters and improves the foreign language proficiency of its staff and lecturers. Scientific research activities are promoted and put into practice; in the academic year, the school successfully completed 4 projects at the Ministry of National Defense level and initiatives at the sector level; 25 specialized topics and initiatives at the school level, and 160 specialized topics and initiatives at the department, faculty, and battalion levels… These projects, specialized topics, and initiatives have been applied in practical teaching and research activities, yielding tangible results.

On behalf of the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia commended the results and achievements of the Artillery Officer School in the past academic year. To successfully complete the tasks of the 2025-2026 academic year and subsequent years, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army requested the Artillery Officer School to continue to thoroughly understand and seriously implement the directives and resolutions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Artillery and Missile Corps, especially Resolution 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development. Focus on fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training with a decisive, synchronized, substantive, and effective spirit. Closely adhere to the practical realities of the units and the conditions of modern warfare, using high-tech weapons. Continue to be proactive, positive, creative, and at the forefront in implementing the motto "The quality of training at the school is the combat readiness of the units"; The study proposes the opening of undergraduate-level officer training programs in Command and Staff - Missile; and master's-level training programs for Artillery and Missile officers, contributing to affirming the school's position and prestige within the military and national school system.

Effectively implement the Central Military Commission's Resolution on leading military science work until 2030 and beyond. Promote scientific research, digital transformation, and the application of information technology in teaching to improve training quality, especially research on the art of using artillery and missiles in modern warfare conditions. Continuously prioritize the standardization of the teaching staff and management personnel, ensuring they possess sufficient professional competence, pedagogical skills, and moral character to meet the requirements of education and training in the new situation.

In particular, it is necessary to focus on implementing solutions to develop a team of qualified teachers; striving to form a team of reputable teachers, scientists, and leading experts in key teaching and research fields of the school to meet the requirements and tasks of building the Artillery and Missile Corps.
