Tuyen Quang builds a strong and comprehensive trade union organization

In the 2023-2025 period, trade unions at all levels in the province have promoted the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, proactively innovated the content and methods of operation in accordance with reality, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate.

The work of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has been improved. Unions at all levels have visited and supported more than 128,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those who have had work-related accidents, or those affected by natural disasters, storms, floods, and risks with a total amount of nearly 34 billion VND.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year, the organization of the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang"; "Tet Union Market"; "Year-end Union Meal" with many practical and effective activities, supported nearly 60,000 gifts for union members and workers with a value of more than 42.1 billion VND; supported discount vouchers for 8,335 union members with a total amount of 3.5 billion VND.

The housing program "Union Shelter" was widely implemented, with unions at all levels participating in supporting union members' families, poor households, and near-poor households to build and repair houses for nearly 13,000 working days; the Provincial Labor Federation supported 203 union member and laborer households to build and repair houses with a budget of more than 7 billion VND.

The work of free health examination and consultation for union members and workers has been given attention; propaganda work has had many innovations, contributing to raising awareness and qualifications of union members and workers. Emulation movements have been effectively implemented, contributing to the realization of the province's socio -economic development goals. The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions has been focused on, focusing on the grassroots.

The inspection and supervision activities of the trade union are carried out transparently and effectively. Trade unions at all levels actively participate in Party and government building; many recommendations and proposals are promptly resolved by Party committees and governments, contributing to consolidating the political system, promoting economic and social development and building a strong trade union organization.

The Congress set out 12 targets and 3 breakthroughs with the goal for the 2025-2030 term: innovating the content and methods of operation, focusing on effectively performing the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; building a team of union officials with capacity, courage, enthusiasm, responsibility and professionalism; building a strong and comprehensive working class and union organization in the era of national development.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee gave a speech at the Congress.

Directing the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Kim Dung praised the achievements of trade unions at all levels in the past term. She noted a number of contents that need to be implemented by trade unions at all levels, focusing on trade union activities that must take union members and workers as the center; listen to the thoughts and aspirations and represent and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

In addition, proactively participate with the government and businesses in building and monitoring the implementation of policies and laws related to workers. Actively dialogue and bargain collectively to improve working conditions, wages and benefits for workers, and build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

The Executive Committee of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation, term 2025-2030, was introduced to the Congress.

Continue to perform well the functions of social supervision and criticism; fight and prevent negative phenomena and violations of workers' rights, and at the same time participate in giving opinions on building a clean and strong Party and government.

The Congress announced the decision of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and leadership positions of the Provincial Confederation of Labor, term I, 2025-2030; and the decision to appoint delegates to attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union. Comrade Trieu Tai Phong was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Confederation of Labor, term 2025-2030.
