With the theme “Made of Nature Wisdom - Natural masterpieces”, brilliant fireworks lit up the banks of the Han River, helping tens of thousands of visitors immerse themselves in overwhelming emotions.
The Italian team opened the night with a performance titled “The Radiant Universe: Symphony of Lights”. As a team that has won many DIFF seasons, the Italian team brought their experience and understanding of the audience to their performance. The team used famous Vietnamese pop songs in the background music, making the Vietnamese audience burst out in surprise and delight.
The show started with a gentle melody like the whisper of a river. The exquisitely designed fireworks were shot into the sky, creating the shape of blooming flowers, green grass and shimmering white clouds. Then, the rhythm was pushed up strongly by the Italian team and exploded like storms in the wild. The music was lively, the high-altitude fireworks exploded, creating overwhelming waves of light.
If Italy is the former champion, the United States is considered a potential rookie. The performance called “Humanity – The Bridge Between Nations” by the United States team took visitors on a world tour, with many emotions. Starting with fireworks shooting up from the river to the rhythm of flexible violins, the performance quickly turned into a strong rock melody, combined with giant, colorful fireworks.
The space by the Han River was lit up, the atmosphere in the stands was continuously pushed to a climax with each high-altitude fireworks display to the vibrant EDM music. The performance ended with melodious jazz melodies and gentle, delicate fireworks like stars falling to the ground.
After each fireworks display, cheers and applause were heard, creating a lively and exciting atmosphere. Thousands of spectators were captivated by the wonderful fireworks displays, feeling the magic of nature and human beings through each burst of fireworks and melody.
Mr. Do Duc Manh, a tourist from Hanoi, said: “Every summer vacation, I take my whole family to Da Nang to swim in the sea and watch the Fireworks Festival. Today, both teams had explosive and eye-catching performances, especially the teams that used many familiar Vietnamese song melodies. I am proud that the Fireworks Festival organized by Vietnam has attracted many world-famous teams to participate, thereby attracting a large number of Vietnamese and international tourists to Da Nang.”
After the exciting second night, the following nights of DIFF 2024 will witness the competition between Germany and Poland (on the evening of June 22 with the theme Made of Love Inspiration); China and Finland (on the evening of June 29 with the theme Made of Fairy Tales). The two teams with the best performances will meet at the final night taking place on July 13 with the name "Made of Young Generation - Future Beat", promising wonderful experiences for visitors to Da Nang this summer.
