Foreign exchange rates on July 18, 2025: USD and CNY fluctuate slightly

DNVN - On the morning of July 18, banks slightly adjusted the exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong (VND) and the US Dollar (USD) and the Chinese Yuan (CNY).

The central exchange rate announced by the State Bank is currently at 25,185 VND/USD, up 9 VND compared to the morning of July 17.

According to the regulation of fluctuation range of ±5%, the ceiling exchange rate is set at 26,444 VND/USD, while the floor exchange rate is 23,926 VND/USD.

The current reference exchange rate at the State Bank's Transaction Office is 23,976 - 26,394 VND/USD for buying and selling.

At 8:15 this morning, Vietcombank slightly reduced the USD exchange rate in both buying and selling directions, bringing the price down to 25,970 - 26,330 VND/USD.

BIDV at the same time still kept the same listing as early yesterday morning at 25,980 - 26,340 VND/USD.

With the Chinese Yuan, Vietcombank has adjusted down 4 VND in both transaction directions, bringing the exchange rate down to 3,583 - 3,698 VND/NDT.

At BIDV, the CNY also decreased slightly by 2 VND today, currently trading at 3,593 - 3,691 VND/CNY (buy - sell).
