U23 Vietnam entered the quarter-finals 1 match early.

In the second match of Group D of the 2024 AFC U23 Championship Finals, U23 Vietnam won 2-0 against U23 Malaysia. This is the second consecutive victory of Coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team.
