The Provincial People's Committee launched a patriotic emulation movement and signed an emulation agreement for 2024.

At the launching ceremony, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council, highly appreciated the achievements of agencies, units, and localities in the patriotic emulation movement in 2023. He emphasized: "This is an important foundation, providing further motivation and strength for us to successfully implement the Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress and the tasks and goals for 2024."

On behalf of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, who is also the Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council, launched the patriotic emulation movement for 2024 and requested the heads of agencies, units, localities, and emulation blocs in the province to focus on effectively implementing several key contents of emulation and commendation work in 2024. These include: Continuing to promote the dissemination and implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws on emulation and commendation; Innovate the work of emulation and commendation and promote emulation to successfully implement the annual and five-year socio-economic development tasks for the period 2021-2025. In particular, thoroughly understand and implement the Law on Emulation and Commendation, effective from January 1, 2024, so that emulation and commendation truly become a driving force and a means contributing to strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party and political system, creating a stronger transformation in the awareness and thinking of Party committees, governments, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, political and socio-political organizations at all levels, emulation blocs, and the people, especially enhancing the responsibility of leading by example of heads of agencies, units, and localities in implementing emulation and commendation work.

Agencies, units, localities, organizations, and businesses belonging to the emulation blocs should focus on completing and seriously and effectively implementing the contents and tasks set out in the Action Program and the entire term's work program of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee. These should be concretized into targets and tasks for each agency and unit, linked to the orientations, viewpoints, goals, and major strategic tasks that will shape the development of our province for many future periods.

Continue to effectively implement the Provincial People's Committee's plan to carry out patriotic emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister, in conjunction with promoting "Learning and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh," creating a vibrant and widespread emulation atmosphere, contributing to maintaining political security and social order, and ensuring the successful completion of political and professional tasks of agencies, units, and localities, focusing on: the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas," "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure; practicing thrift and combating waste," "For the poor - Leaving no one behind," "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees compete to implement a cultured lifestyle in the workplace," and "The whole country competes to build a learning society and promote lifelong learning in the period 2023 - 2030." Promote the implementation of the "Propaganda of Exemplary Advanced Models Project for the period 2022-2025"; and activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being inscribed by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site (2014-2024).

Improve the quality of commendation and reward work, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, openness, transparency, and an educational and exemplary effect, creating a ripple effect in social life. Launch and organize emulation movements to achieve accomplishments in celebration of major holidays throughout the year. Widely disseminate information to cadres, Party members, and all segments of the population about patriotism and national pride.

Determined to successfully implement the 2024 work theme of the Provincial Party Committee through specific movements and tasks, agencies, units, and localities throughout the province will focus on tightening administrative discipline and order, enhancing responsibility, and promoting a proactive and positive spirit in the performance of official duties by cadres, civil servants, and public employees. They will also promote scientific research, technological development, and innovation, especially in the operations of businesses in the province.

Promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political-social organizations, associations, and all strata of the people to consolidate and strengthen the great national unity, create unity in the implementation of political tasks, and foster a vibrant spirit of emulation in organizing and implementing emulation movements.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council requested that: Members of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council, heads of emulation blocs, and heads of agencies, units, and localities continue to lead and direct the development of plans and organize the launching and implementation of emulation movements in 2024 with a vibrant, widespread, and practical spirit, contributing to the successful fulfillment of the tasks of building a strong Party and political system; and comprehensively developing the economy and society in 2024.

Following the launch of the emulation campaign by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council, and the heads of the provincial emulation blocs signed an agreement to implement the emulation movement in 2024.
