The project for a factory producing laminated wood panels and wood grinding for the production of biofuel pellets for domestic consumption and export, located in the Ba Dong Industrial Cluster, is invested by Ngoc Tram Production and Trading Co., Ltd. and received an investment approval decision from the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee in March 2017. To date, the project has completed all procedures regarding environmental protection, fire safety, deposit of security funds, and land use needs assessment, but has not yet been granted land lease or an extension of the investment schedule.

Representatives from various businesses presented their reports at the meeting.

Directing the resolution of this issue, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien assigned the Department of Finance to advise the Provincial People's Committee on how to resolve the matter so that the investor can complete the dossier and bring the project into operation soon, completing it before February 2026.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien delivered a directive speech at the meeting.

Regarding the plywood and handicraft factory in Thach Tru Industrial Cluster, the investment policy for the project was approved in May 2019, and land was leased and handed over in March 2022. However, the project's implementation progress has been slow due to various reasons.

At the meeting, based on the opinions of departments, agencies, and localities, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien assigned the Department of Finance to support and guide the investor in completing the land-related documents and procedures. At the same time, he requested the investor to develop a progress plan for the remaining parts of the project, with specific commitments, and to urgently focus resources on implementing construction and completing the licensed items, so that the project can be put into operation soon.

Representatives from the localities where the projects are located spoke at the meeting.

The Kim Duc Packaging and Bag Factory project in the Binh Nguyen Industrial Cluster is currently being proposed for investment by the investor, with the business activities including the production of suitcases, bags, and similar products. According to leaders of relevant departments and agencies, the proposed business activities of the project are basically consistent with the approved industry characteristics of the Binh Nguyen Industrial Cluster.

Representatives from various departments and agencies spoke at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien requested Binh Son commune to coordinate with relevant departments and agencies in supporting the investor with land for project implementation. He also instructed relevant departments, agencies, and localities to actively support the investor in proceeding with the next steps, such as obtaining investment approval and addressing environmental issues.
