The meeting approved the decision to establish the Organizing Committee, draft plans for organizing the tournament, and announced the assignment of tasks to its members. Accordingly, the tournament, organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, aims to mobilize resources to support the provincial "For the Poor" Fund in 2023; to promote the dissemination of information and encourage organizations, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists to actively participate in the "For the Poor - Leaving No One Behind" emulation movement, working together with the government at all levels to support and care for the poor; and to promote the nationwide sports training movement and develop the practice and competition of golf throughout the province. The tournament is expected to take place on September 30, 2023, at the Na Ra Binh Tien Golf Course, Binh Tien Hamlet, Cong Hai Commune (Thuan Bac District), with 100-150 participating athletes.
Comrade Le Van Binh, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presided over the meeting.
Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province requested the Organizing Committee to ensure thorough, economical, practical, and effective preparation and organization of the tournament. He urged the mobilization of a large number of athletes, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to participate in the competition, while also actively contributing to and supporting the provincial "For the Poor" Fund. He also requested that media outlets focus on developing a plan to publicize the purpose and significance of the tournament, thereby contributing to helping and encouraging the poor to strive for sustainable poverty alleviation and build a better life.
