Sharing a common vision for the development of Vietnamese football, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) andFPT Play have signed a comprehensive and long-term cooperation agreement. This not only marks a new milestone in efforts to seek and mobilize maximum social resources for football, but also reaffirms FPT Play's leading role in television broadcasting rights, contributing step by step to the growth of the national team.
Matches involving the National team, the U23 National team, etc., will be broadcast live on various platforms.
Accordingly, all international matches involving the national team, held within Vietnam's territory, and for which the television broadcasting rights are owned by the VFF, will be produced and broadcast live by FPT Play across various platforms: terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, internet, mobile, public screenings, and social media.
Expressing confidence in the excellent cooperative relationship between the two sides, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi, General Secretary of the VFF, affirmed: “With the advantage of simultaneously holding the broadcasting rights for national professional football leagues and many other international leagues in the continent over the years, FPT Play is a reliable partner with full potential and experience in implementing these tasks. I believe that the VFF and FPT Play will bring special football experiences to fans nationwide in the near future.”
With numerous matches to be held in Vietnam each year, domestic audiences will have the opportunity to watch matches of the Vietnamese National Men's Football Team, National Olympic Team, National U23 Men's Football Team, and National U22 Men's Football Team for four consecutive years from 2023 to 2027 on FPT Play, as well as on other television channels and application platforms.
