VFF and FPT Play cooperate on television copyright of national team matches

Sharing a common vision in the goal of developing Vietnamese football, VFF and FPT Play have signed a comprehensive and long-term cooperation agreement. Not only marking a new milestone in the effort to seek and mobilize maximum social resources for football, this event also reaffirms FPT Play's role as a pioneer in television copyright work, contributing step by step to the growth of the National Team.

Matches of the National Team, National U23 Team... will be broadcast live on the platforms.

Accordingly, all international matches with the participation and competition of the National Team, held within the territory of Vietnam, whose television rights are owned by VFF, will be produced and broadcast live by FPT Play on the following infrastructures: terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile, public screening and exploitation on social networks...

Expressing his confidence in the good cooperative relationship between the two sides, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi, General Secretary of VFF affirmed: “With the advantage of being the unit that simultaneously holds the broadcasting copyright of national professional football tournaments and many other international tournaments of the continent in recent years, FPT Play is a reliable partner, with full potential and experience in implementing the above tasks. I believe that VFF will work with FPT Play to bring special football experiences to fans nationwide in the near future.”

With many matches to be held in Vietnam each year, domestic audiences will have the opportunity to watch matches of the National Men's Football Team, National Olympic Team, National U23 Men's Football Team and Vietnam National U22 Men's Football Team for 4 consecutive years from 2023 to 2027 on FPT Play as well as on other TV channels and application platforms.
