This year, the books were donated by students from all over the school and accompanying units, including general textbooks, specialized documents and foreign language books. Compared to 2024, the number of books increased by more than 1,000 books.
Tran Le Kim Ha, a new international economics student, said: “Receiving the general textbooks at the beginning of the school year helps me save money and motivates me to study. This is not only a material gift but also a spiritual encouragement for new students like me to feel more secure when starting my journey at school.”
The activity attracted more than 3,000 students to participate, including more than 1,000 new students.
Thanks to the free textbooks, new students save a significant amount of money.
Along with the book donation, the school and businesses presented 20 gifts to support new students in difficult circumstances, including 15 scholarships directly at the festival. Each gift included living expenses, backpacks, helmets, white notebooks, textbooks, corporate gifts and an English scholarship worth 3 million VND.
The highlight of the festival is the message of sharing knowledge among generations of students. Each book passed on not only prolongs the life cycle of knowledge but also connects the UFM community.
