According to Decision 1431/QD-CTN signed by President Vo Van Thuong on November 28 and Decision 1173/QD-CTN dated October 10, 2023, a total of 256 individuals were awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in the 10th round of awarding the titles of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist.
Actors from prime-time Vietnamese TV dramas on VTV, such as Viet Anh, Quach Thu Phuong, Thanh Binh, and Ngoc Quynh, are among those awarded the title of Meritorious Artist.
Actor Viet Anh
Actor Viet Anh, whose full name is Nguyen Le Viet Anh (born in 1981), was born in Hanoi. After graduating from the National Economics University in 2003, his journey into the seventh art began when he attended the television acting training course at VFC (this was the first acting training course organized by VFC).
Here, he had the opportunity to meet the late People's Artist Hoang Dung - the mentor who guided Viet Anh into the profession.
Having been involved in acting for over 20 years, Viet Anh is often chosen by directors to play the role of a womanizer or a cunning character.

After 20 years of playing villains, Viet Anh surprised audiences by transforming into characters with different and contrasting characteristics compared to the roles he had previously taken on.
That's Hoang with his flamboyant appearance, often wearing colorful outfits, and his cheerful, witty personality in "Sunflower Against the Sun ," or the single father in the film "Ex-Husband, Ex-Wife, Ex-Lover" (2022).
Most recently, Viet Anh played the role of Lieutenant Colonel Tran Dinh Trung - the commander of the Muong Luong border guard station in the film "The War Without Borders" .
This was the first time the actor had the opportunity to wear a military uniform, becoming the Border Guard soldier he had always dreamed of being. Thanks to this role, he received a commendation from the Ministry of National Defense .
Throughout his acting career, Viet Anh has also received many major awards.

Actor Thanh Binh
Artist Thanh Bình (born in 1971) primarily works in theater and has been employed at the Youth Theater for over 29 years. He has appeared in several television dramas such as: Criminal Police, Portrait of Love, The Way to the Land of Flowers, Don't Make Mom Angry…
Most recently, he participated in the film "Not Afraid to Get Married, Just Need One Reason" directed by Bui Quoc Viet.

Thanh Bình said he got into acting when he "pleased" his mother by participating in an audition. At that time, he didn't like acting and didn't know what it was because all his love was for painting.
"During my four years of college, my passion for acting gradually grew, and I couldn't give it up. There was a time when I considered dropping out to go to university, but after graduating, I returned to acting," the actor once recounted.
Speaking to a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper, artist Thanh Binh said that in real life, he is also a single father raising his children, so he plays the role of a single father quite naturally.
"I consider myself the father of the family, playing both the roles of father and mother, so I want to make up for it more for my children. Currently, I am happy with what I have," he confided.
Actress Quách Thu Phương
Quách Thu Phương (born in 1977) is beloved by audiences for her charming acting style and beautiful face. She left a deep impression on viewers with her role as Lan - the daughter-in-law in the film "Của để dành " (aired in 1998) and other films such as "Điệp vụ thứ nhất" (First Mission), "Hà Nội mùa đông năm 1946" (Hanoi in the Winter of 1946)...
Along with television dramas, Quách Thu Phương has also achieved success on stage with many acclaimed plays at the Youth Theatre such as "New Year's Eve Dancer," "The House with Three Sisters," etc.
At the peak of her career, Quách Thu Phương decided to get married and stop her artistic activities so she could devote herself entirely to raising her children.

Actress Ngoc Quynh
Ngoc Quynh was born in 1980 in Thuong Tin, Hanoi. While studying in his first year at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film, he was chosen by director Luu Trong Ninh to play the role of Tien in the film Hoa Co May (Wildflowers ).
The film was a huge success; however, after that, he didn't participate in any other film projects and focused on his studies.
After graduating, Ngoc Quynh worked at the People's Police Theatre for over a year before transferring to the Youth Theatre. Later, the actor continued his career at the Vietnam National Drama Theatre before finally settling at the Hanoi Drama Theatre.

During this time, Ngoc Quynh faced many difficulties, and the pressure of work led him to decide to take a break from the theater for a while.
He decided to further his education at the University of Architecture and, together with his brother, opened an architectural firm while still studying. However, the actor later decided to quit because of his passion for acting.
In 2009, he participated in the film "Believe in the Impossible," but it didn't help him break through. It wasn't until 2019 that Ngoc Quynh had a life-changing opportunity with the role of Thai in the film "Roses on the Left Breast."
The success of the role not only brought Ngoc Quynh attention to the audience but also earned him the Best Leading Actor award at the 2020 Golden Kite Awards.
Since then, audiences have continued to call Ngoc Quynh by the name "Thai". Recently, he returned to the screen with a supporting role in the film "Black Potion".
