In the quarterfinals of the Women's 3-Cushion Carom Billiards World Championship held in France from September 10-12, 2024, Vietnamese player Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi defeated her opponent and made history by reaching the semi-finals of the world championship for the first time and winning a Bronze Medal. Yen Nhi's achievement also helped affirm the position of Vietnamese 3-Cushion Carom Billiards on the international stage.
