Vinh Phuc elects Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and some positions

On the morning of July 31, the People's Council of Vinh Phuc province held a thematic meeting to review and decide on matters under its authority.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council elected comrade Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Provincial People's Council elected comrade Truong Duc Tuan, Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, to hold the position of Head of the Cultural and Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council.

Delegates attending the meeting unanimously agreed to remove Mr. Nguyen Van Khuoc (who was temporarily detained and expelled from the Party) from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and delegate of the Provincial People's Council.

The Provincial People's Council unanimously dismissed Mr. Vu Chi Giang from his position as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Tran Duy Dong expressed his opinion.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council also dismissed 8 members of the Provincial People's Committee for the following reasons: resignation, transfer to other jobs; early retirement; transfer to Party agencies.

The Provincial People's Council elected 3 members of the Provincial People's Committee, including: Than Van Hai, Director of the Provincial Police; Nguyen Xuan Quang, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Nguyen Phu Son, Director of the Department of Education and Training.
