On the evening of January 10, supermodel Vu Thu Phuong confirmed her divorce from businessman Thanh Hai after about 13 years of living together.
Vu Thu Phuong said that she and her husband have been separated for more than a year and have completed divorce proceedings for a few months. She said that she used to think that family was love and a lifelong career, so she sacrificed everything, tried to cultivate and build it with the hope that her marital happiness would last forever.
"Love and marriage are not something that can be achieved just by wanting it to be good and building it. There are too many problems and irreconcilable differences, so my husband and I decided to stop in the most civilized way possible so that we can protect, love, care for, and educate our children in a different way," she shared on her personal page.
At the end of 2011, Vu Thu Phuong married businessman Thanh Hai. After the marriage, the beauty withdrew from showbiz, focusing on helping her husband with his business. They overcame many difficulties in their work, but that made them love and bond with each other even more.
Businesswoman Thanh Hai has two daughters, then Vu Thu Phuong gave birth to two more daughters. The supermodel loves her four children very much, creating fairness, without distinguishing between her biological children and her stepchildren. She did not try to have another son because she wanted to focus on raising her four children in the best way possible.
