According to reports from the Chinese market, some Xiaomi Home stores have quietly launched a "pre-order with refund" program worth 100 yuan ( US$14 ) for an upcoming high-end camera smartphone. Notably, this program does not include any detailed product information. Based on Xiaomi's familiar launch cycle and previous rumors, it is highly likely that the device in question is the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
Pre-ordering products before their official release is not uncommon in the smartphone industry. Manufacturers often use this method to gauge user interest before officially launching a flagship model. The 100 yuan deposit is refundable, reducing risk for early participants.
