Naval Region 3: 'Houses not finished yet, troops not leaving positions'

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the morning of December 4, in Da Nang City, the Naval Region 3 Command launched the "Quang Trung Campaign" to help people in Gia Lai province rebuild houses damaged by rain and floods.

Attending the launching ceremony were: Colonel Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of Naval Region 3; Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Naval Region 3; leaders, commanders, officers and soldiers of agencies and units throughout the Region.

Speaking at the task assignment ceremony for the forces, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien, Political Commissar of Naval Region 3, emphasized: The Naval Region 3 Command organized the rapid launch of "Quang Trung Campaign" to mobilize forces and means with the highest sense of responsibility, urgently coordinate with the Party Committee and authorities of Gia Lai province to build houses for families that suffered heavy losses after the rain and floods, contributing to helping families soon stabilize their lives, prepare to welcome the new year 2026 and the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo, leaving no one behind.

"That action demonstrates the affection, sense of responsibility, solidarity, and close attachment of officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3 to the people. At the same time, it continues to concretize the spirit of helping the people as an order from the heart, a combat mission in peacetime, and a vivid and concrete demonstration in carrying out the task of building a comprehensively strong Region that is 'Exemplary, typical', revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern," Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien stated.

To deploy the "Quang Trung Campaign", the Naval Region 3 Command coordinated with the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command to establish 6 teams of workers, each team consisting of 12-17 officers and soldiers (including 3-5 masons) to support the construction of 6 houses for families in Tuy Phuoc Dong commune, Gia Lai province. The completion and handover time is before January 31, 2026. The Naval Region 3 Command strives to complete 7 to 10 days in advance.

To complete the task as quickly, effectively and efficiently as possible, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien requested agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Prime Minister 's Official Dispatch No. 234 dated November 30, 2025 on launching and implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign" to rapidly rebuild and repair houses for families whose houses were damaged by recent natural disasters in the Central provinces; deploy forces and means closely, quickly organize mobile formations to damaged localities to help people with a spirit of consensus and unity: "Until the houses are finished, the troops have not left their positions".
