On the morning of December 4, Naval Region 3 organized a rapid deployment of the "Quang Trung Campaign" to help people in Gia Lai province build and repair houses damaged by floods.

Attending the launching and dispatching of troops were Colonel Pham Anh Tuan, Commander of the Region; Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Region, along with comrades Heads of the Region Command, leaders, commanders and a large number of officers and soldiers in the entire Region.

Previously, Region 3 organized a working group to coordinate with the local authorities in Gia Lai province to survey the extent of damage to each household. With the spirit of "Serving the people", immediately after receiving the task, Region 3 selected and established 6 construction teams, with more than 100 officers and soldiers with skills in construction, carpentry, mechanics, electrical engineering, along with vehicles, equipment, and machinery to Tuy Phuoc Dong commune, Gia Lai province.

The teams will coordinate with local authorities, militia forces, and organizations to build new houses for the right people, not leaving out severely damaged households, ensuring the completion schedule, handing over before January 31, 2026, striving to complete 7 to 10 days in advance.

At the launching ceremony, assigning tasks to the forces to carry out the campaign, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien emphasized: "Quang Trung Campaign" - The march to build houses for the people is not only a political command, but also the sentiment, responsibility, and solidarity of the officers and soldiers of Region 3 to be present in time to share and help the people who suffered damage after the flood to stabilize their lives soon, not leaving anyone behind; he requested agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Prime Minister's Telegram No. 234 on launching and implementing "Quang Trung Campaign" to quickly rebuild and repair houses for families whose houses were damaged by recent natural disasters in the Central provinces. Deploy forces and means closely, quickly organize mobile formations to the localities to help the people with the spirit of "If the houses are not finished, the army will not leave their positions".

The Political Commissar of Region 3 reminded officers and soldiers participating in the campaign to strictly comply with state laws, military regulations and discipline, safety rules; maintain the qualities and image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers", solidarity, dedication, and exemplary behavior when interacting with the people.

The team commanders promote responsibility, assign scientific tasks, promote combined strength, take advantage of time, overcome the sun and rain to build quality projects, hand over on schedule and exceed the set progress, contributing to the Party Committee, government and people of Gia Lai province to soon stabilize their lives after rain and floods.
