On the morning of December 4, Lien Ninh Transport and Service Joint Stock Company officially announced the conversion of 100% of its existing fleet to VinFast electric buses in December 2025.
With 9 routes and 111 all-electric buses, Lien Ninh Bus Enterprise will contribute to making Hanoi the leading locality in the country in greening public transport.
Accordingly, 111 VinFast smart electric buses will be allocated this month to 9 existing bus routes of Lien Ninh, including routes: 08A (Long Bien - Dong My), 08B (Long Bien - Van Phuc, Thanh Tri), 09A (Tran Khanh Du - University of Mining), 09B (Tran Khanh Du - My Dinh Bus Station), 19 (Tran Khanh Du - Academy of Policy and Development), 21A (Giap Bat Bus Station - Yen Nghia Bus Station), 21B (Duyen Thai - My Dinh Bus Station), 37 (Giap Bat Bus Station - Chuong My), 125 (Thuong Tin - Te Tieu Bus Station).
To ensure the pure electric bus fleet operates efficiently and without interruption, Lien Ninh has proactively invested in installing a system of 40 charging stations at parking lots and terminals, ensuring convenience and easy access.
Of the 111 VinFast electric buses put into use by Lien Ninh, there are 26 large-sized EB10 buses, 72 medium-sized EB8 buses and 13 small-sized EB6 buses. All models are designed with low floors, optimized for the elderly, children and people with disabilities.
The car is equipped with modern amenities such as information screens, automatic stop notification systems, Wi-Fi connection, security cameras and advanced driving assistance technologies of VinFast such as collision warning, lane monitoring. The above equipment not only improves safety but also sets new standards in service quality and experience for passengers.
Mr. Doan Van Phan, Director of Lien Ninh Transport and Services Joint Stock Company, said that switching to electric buses is a strategic decision of Lien Ninh in the journey of accompanying Hanoi in building a clean and green public transport system. This is not only a fleet upgrade, but also an opportunity to establish a new transport standard, cleaner, safer and more stable.
"The complete conversion to electric buses shows Lien Ninh's sustainable development orientation in the new period, in line with the roadmap and goal of converting all public transport to clean energy vehicles, environmentally friendly in Hanoi city," said Mr. Phan.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, emphasized that the city acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Lien Ninh Transport and Service Joint Stock Company in preparing, investing and systematically implementing the conversion of the entire fleet of vehicles to electric buses.
"We also appreciate the supportive role of VinFast, V-Green and partners in Vingroup 's green ecosystem in this transformation process. Such collaborations will create an important foundation to support public passenger transport businesses to accelerate the green transformation of the capital's public transport system in the coming time," Mr. Quyen added.

Lien Ninh's decision to convert 100% of its fleet to electric buses marks a big step forward for the passenger transport service industry, making Hanoi the leading locality in the country in greening public transport.
In addition to VinBus and Lien Ninh, which own a 100% pure electric vehicle fleet, other large enterprises such as Transerco, Bao Yen, Newway, Hanoi Electric Vehicles, etc. have also been gradually putting electric vehicles into operation to replace internal combustion engine vehicles, contributing to reducing emissions and improving the quality of life for the capital's residents./.
