This is a program organized by the Vietnam Classical Music Association with the accompaniment of the Tubingen Academic Symphony Orchestra (Germany), the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Hoan Kiem Theater. The concert "A Rhapsody of Two Worlds" is also a musical and cultural event of special significance, not only to honor 50 years of Vietnam - Germany friendship but also to promote the image of Vietnam's integration and development, while affirming the role of art in people's diplomacy . The program has the participation of the Tubingen Academy's Academic Symphony Orchestra, conductor Philipp Amelung, along with Professor, guitarist Dang Ngoc Long, pianist Nguyen Viet Trung. Guest stars are violinist Do Phuong Nhi, cellist Tran Hong Nhung.

Notably, during the concert, Professor and artist Dang Ngoc Long, Principal of the Berlin School of Music - Gesundbrunnen, Chairman of the Artistic Council of the Berlin International Guitar Competition, will perform “Suite Kieu”. This is his composition for guitar and Symphony Orchestra, inspired by the masterpiece Tale of Kieu by the great poet Nguyen Du. The work has been selected for performance by many orchestras and artists in Germany and will be a unique highlight for classical music lovers in Vietnam in this concert program.
Also in the program, artist Nguyen Viet Trung will perform with the Tübingen Symphony Orchestra the Piano Concerto in G major - one of Ravel's most brilliant masterpieces, composed between 1929 and 1931. The audience will also have the opportunity to enjoy many other works such as Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor by Felix Mendelssohn - one of the most famous chamber works of the Romantic period; Symphony No. 8 (also known as the Unfinished Symphony) by Franz Schubert and Kaiserwalzer (The Emperor's Dance) by Johann Strauss II.

The organizers also said that the Tübingen Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1957. This is one of Germany's prestigious orchestras, standing out for its spirit of international cultural exchange and orientation to nurture young talents. Over the past seven decades, the orchestra has performed more than 70 tours in more than 90 countries and territories, bringing to the public creative programs that are both academic and encourage community connections, regularly participating in prestigious international festivals. The presence of the Tübingen Symphony Orchestra in Vietnam in the Concert "A Rhapsody of Two Worlds" is a meaningful event, affirming the mission of spreading classical music to the global public.
