Nestled within a majestic mountain in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Nguom Ngao Cave, also known as Ngao Cave, was discovered in 1921 and opened to tourism in 1996. According to a 1995 survey by the British Royal Cave Society, the cave is 2144m long and has three main entrances named Nguom Lom, Nguom Ngao, and Ban Thuon. Due to its late discovery and relatively short history as a tourist attraction, the cave retains its pristine and unique beauty. (Source: Traveloka)

Phong Nam is a small commune in Trung Khanh district, located only about 15km from the district center. Compared to the route to Ban Gioc Waterfall, the road to Phong Nam is much simpler.
