Since October, orange gardens in Van Son, Thao Nguyen and Moc Son wards have been ripening, turning golden yellow, standing out against the green leaves, creating a vivid natural picture that attracts many tourists to visit.

The gentle scent of oranges carried by the wind makes anyone who visits feel relaxed and comfortable. Thanks to meticulous organic care, many orange gardens on the Moc Chau plateau each year harvest dozens of tons of fruit with uniform quality, rich sweetness and juiciness.

Mr. Vu Quang Kien - a resident of Moc Chau - shared that since 2022, realizing the potential of experiential tourism , people have proactively opened their gardens to welcome visitors at reasonable fees. The development of agriculture with tourism quickly brought about clear results. Orange gardens are known to more people, consumption output has increased sharply and prices are stable.

On peak weekends, this place can welcome more than a thousand visitors. Many visitors, after enjoying the oranges on the spot, often buy a few dozen kilos to bring home as gifts.

Mr. Kien shared that Moc Chau people are currently growing orange varieties such as: Ly orange, Canh orange, V2 orange. In season, the garden is covered in a brilliant yellow shirt, stretching across the hillside, creating a space that is both poetic and full of life .

Here, visitors can freely walk around, take pictures, visit the orange care process and experience picking ripe fruits by themselves. What makes many people excited is enjoying oranges right at the root, the feeling of freshness and sweetness that is hard to find elsewhere. Ms. Le Tran Quynh Anh - a tourist from Hanoi - shared her surprise at the scale and beauty of the orange gardens on the plateau. For her, standing in a space full of fruit colors, feeling the early winter chill and watching clusters of golden oranges in the sun is a precious experience.

Not only attracting tourists, Moc Chau orange season is also the time when service photographers flock to. The naturally beautiful garden corners, combined with the gentle morning sunlight, create an ideal setting for commemorative photos. Vu Quang Kien shared that the best time to take photos is in the morning. Light, light-toned outfits will stand out against the yellow orange background; adding a few accessories such as an orange basket... is enough to have poetic photos.

Up to now, Moc Chau has more than 60 hectares of oranges, mainly concentrated in Van Son, Thao Nguyen and Moc Son wards. Most of the area is cultivated organically, using microbial fertilizers, hydrolyzed nitrogen and biological products to ensure safety for users and environmental friendliness. Orange season usually starts from mid-October and lasts until the end of January of the following year, becoming an important highlight on the Moc Chau agricultural tourism map.

The year-end tours to Moc Chau almost cannot lack a stop at the orange garden, because this is an activity that brings a real experience of local agriculture. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Chairman of Moc Chau Ward People's Committee - said that the model combining clean agriculture and experiential tourism not only helps increase the value of agricultural products but also opens up a direction for sustainable development for the locality.
