Building a generation of talented youth leaders with solid expertise and good professional skills

On August 25, the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of Binh Thanh District (term 2024 - 2029) took place with the participation of 140 delegates, representing more than 17,000 members of the district.

Speaking at the congress, Standing Committee member of the City Youth Union, Permanent Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Doan Truong Quang requested the Binh Thanh District Youth Union to continue investing in the movements "I love my Fatherland", "I love Binh Thanh"; pay attention to, direct and promote members to carry out the project "Saigon River - My City River".

Along with that, it is necessary to continue to focus on solutions to promote the activities of clubs, teams, and groups; set out tasks in searching, training, fostering, and arranging Association officials to build a class of talented, professionally qualified, and skilled youth leaders.

Secretary of the District Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Binh Thanh District, 7th term, Bui Thi Nhu Ngoc, delivered a speech accepting the assignment.

Mr. Doan Truong Quang hopes that the new term of the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Binh Thanh District will promote collective strength, solidarity, innovation and creativity in union work and the district youth movement.

At the congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Binh Thanh District Party Committee Trieu Le Khanh also suggested that the Vietnam Youth Union of Binh Thanh District should continue to do a good job in educating , training, and nurturing young people with revolutionary ideals and a spirit of respect for the law. Rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in association work and youth movements for the 2019 - 2024 term

The Congress consulted 39 comrades to join the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Binh Thanh District, Term VII.

Secretary of the District Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Binh Thanh District, term VI, Bui Thi Nhu Ngoc continues to hold the position of President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Binh Thanh District, term VI.

The Congress also consulted 10 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates to attend the 9th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union (term 2024 - 2029).
