At the beginning of the new school year, member universities of Danang University often organize propaganda activities to enhance skills and knowledge for students. Recently, the University of Technology (University of Danang) launched a campaign to encourage students to strictly comply with traffic laws, prevent social evils and promote the online anti-kidnapping campaign for the 2025-2026 school year with the participation of nearly 300 students.
According to Ms. Lam Thi Hong Nhat, Deputy Head of Student Affairs Department, University of Technology, at the beginning of each school year, the school often organizes propaganda and legal education for students. This is a practical activity, comprehensively educating students; contributing to raising awareness and sense of responsibility of students in implementing civilized lifestyle, complying with legal regulations; thereby building a safe, healthy and sustainable educational environment. Students are shared by reporters with a lot of information about knowledge and skills needed when participating in traffic, obeying the law; knowledge and skills to prevent crime, drugs and social evils...

In particular, this year, the Polytechnic University also promoted online kidnapping prevention, helping students clearly identify forms of fraud, fake tricks, personal information intrusion, as well as preventive measures and handling when encountering suspicious situations. Thereby contributing to raising awareness, proactively protecting oneself and the community in cyberspace.
Raising awareness and personal responsibility
Nguyen Nhat Nguyen, a student of the Faculty of Environment, said that propaganda sessions like this are very necessary and meaningful for students, helping to equip them with life skills, skills to identify and avoid risks in digital life. From practical sharing, vivid examples of traffic safety, drug prevention, and high-tech crime help students better understand the consequences and harms of violating the law and online fraud. At the same time, raise awareness, personal responsibility in complying with the law and proactively say no to negative behaviors and social evils.
Similarly, the training session on skills to prevent fraud in cyberspace for students of the University of Education (University of Da Nang) also attracted the attention of many students. This activity is part of a series of training programs implemented by the Da Nang Youth Union in many schools, aiming to raise awareness, equip digital skills and vigilance for union members, youth, students.
In the context of international integration, when technology is developing strongly and online fraud is becoming more and more sophisticated, proactive identification and prevention becomes an urgent requirement for each individual.

Students are shared with in-depth topics such as: Identifying common forms of fraud on social networks, e-commerce, digital finance; skills in protecting personal information, civilized behavior, responsibility when participating in the online environment; instructions on handling situations and support contact channels when encountering problems or suspecting fraud; exchanging, discussing, and answering questions to help students be more proactive in protecting themselves and the digital community.
Minh Phuong, a second-year student of the Faculty of Literature and Communication, University of Education, shared that in the context of strong technological development, equipping students with skills to use social networks safely and selectively is extremely necessary for students. Propaganda and training sessions help students better understand their responsibilities when participating in the online environment, thereby forming the habit of civilized behavior, respecting others and contributing to building a healthy and positive cyberspace.
According to Deputy Head of the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Department, Da Nang City Youth Union Truong Thi Ngoc Phuong, through propaganda activities, students are updated with new knowledge about network safety; contributing to building a young generation with solid skills and courage in the digital transformation era, joining hands to form a safe, healthy and sustainable online community.
