Hai Duong province will invest nearly 300 billion VND to build two 18-storey apartment buildings with 390 apartments to replace some old, dilapidated apartment buildings.
According to the resolution recently passed by the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council, the new apartment building named Ta Quang Buu will be built in the collective housing area of officials and workers in Lilama 69-3 village, Binh Han ward, Hai Duong city.
This is a social housing project consisting of two apartment buildings CT1 and CT2, with a total area of over 4,800 m2, each apartment area is 45-60 m2. The project aims to relocate households living in degraded, unsafe collective housing and apartment buildings in Hai Duong City.

The project investor is the Hai Duong Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, implementing the project from now until 2025.
Hai Duong City still has more than 500 households living in collective housing areas built in the 1960s of the last century, which are currently unsafe, such as the May Bom, Binh Minh, and May Su collective housing areas.
