On the afternoon of October 27th, a representative from Da Phuc High School confirmed that the information was inaccurate. “ Currently, Ms. P is experiencing health problems and has been hospitalized at Bach Mai Hospital for treatment; she has not yet returned to work,” the representative stated.
The school representative also stated that immediately after the incident occurred, the school temporarily suspended Ms. P from her duties at the request of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. The decision was effective from October 2nd to October 16th.
Therefore, Ms. P's suspension has now ended, and she can return to work unless she is disciplined again. Because Ms. P is currently undergoing medical treatment, the school's disciplinary committee has not yet been able to convene to decide on a course of action.

Previously, social media was abuzz with a video showing a female student kneeling and crying in front of her classroom door until she was exhausted, after which the teacher grabbed her shirt and dragged her along. The clip was allegedly filmed in the hallway of class 12D4 at Da Phuc High School (Soc Son district, Hanoi).
According to the video, the female student was chased out into the hallway by the teacher and cried until she was exhausted. However, the teacher continued to scold her, causing the student to panic, cling to the teacher's legs, and repeatedly say, "I'm sorry, teacher, please forgive me." The incident culminated in the teacher grabbing the student by the collar and dragging her along the ground.
In the meeting minutes and report, Ms. P admitted that this was an inappropriate action, a hasty response, and caused misunderstanding. The school principal reprimanded teacher P for her inappropriate behavior of pulling the student to stand up, which was unbecoming of a homeroom teacher.
At the same time, the school principal called student C's father to come to the school for a meeting. The principal accepted responsibility for the unfortunate incident and hoped that student C and his family would understand teacher P's actions of dragging the student.

Following the incident, the school transferred the female teacher's teaching of Civic Education and her role as homeroom teacher for class 12D4 to another teacher. Once the police investigation concludes, the school will address the individual's responsibility.
On October 2nd, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requested the temporary suspension of teacher P. from her duties.
