16 teenagers carrying weapons chased and injured passersby

On December 8, news from Quang Tri Provincial Police said that the Criminal Investigation Team on Criminal - Economic - Drug Crimes of Hai Lang District Police had just coordinated with Trieu Phong District Police and Quang Tri Town Police to verify and invite to work a group of 16 teenagers riding motorbikes without license plates, weaving, swerving, carrying weapons causing injuries to passersby.

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation on cyberspace, Hai Lang District Police discovered that on the Tiktok platform, many accounts such as: "@satthu_74", "@sieusao65", "Thanh gio 74", "Tre C1" posted videos with content about a number of young people gathering, carrying pig-stabbing knives, iron rods and some other weapons.

Then, this group of people drove motorbikes at high speed on some roads in Dien Sanh town, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province. In addition, these accounts also regularly posted content about fighting with other youth groups in Hai Lang district.

By professional measures, at around 0:00 on December 6, the Criminal Investigation Police Team on Crime - Economy - Drugs of Hai Lang District Police discovered on 3/2 Street in Dien Sanh Town (Hai Lang District) 16 teenagers carrying pig-stabbing knives, beer bottles and some crude weapons, traveling on 7 motorbikes, without helmets, running at high speed, lining up side by side...

Realizing signs of law violations, the Police Task Force blocked and inspected. Through initial investigation, the group of teenagers confessed that they had chased and used weapons to injure two passersby.

It is known that the teenagers in the above group are between 15 and 18 years old, with permanent residence in Trieu Phong district, Hai Lang district and Quang Tri town. Currently, Hai Lang district police are continuing to verify and collect evidence and documents to handle according to the provisions of law.
