At around 7:00 p.m. on July 6, Nong The Tai, born in 2011, residing in Bach Ngoc commune, Tuyen Quang province, suffered from thalassemia and was being treated at Ha Giang General Hospital (Tuyen Quang province) in need of an urgent transfusion of blood type B. However, because the hospital's blood reserves had run out, the patient fell into critical condition.

2 officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police Department, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police donated blood to save people.

Immediately after receiving the information, Major Sung Mi Long and Private Ha Xuan Dinh, officers of the Mobile Police Department, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, quickly arrived at the hospital, donated 2 units of blood, and promptly helped the patient overcome the critical condition.
