Specifically, 20 new groups have 100% of their health insurance premiums paid by the state budget, including:
1. People's army officers, professional soldiers on active duty; professional officers, non-commissioned officers and technical officers and non-commissioned officers working in the people's police force; and people working in cryptography receiving salaries as military personnel.
2. Non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the People's Army on active duty; non-commissioned officers and soldiers on duty in the People's Police; military students, police students, and cryptography students receiving living expenses are Vietnamese citizens.
3. Military students, police students, and cryptography students who receive living expenses are foreigners.
4. Cadets training as reserve officers for 3 months or more have not participated in social insurance or health insurance.
5. Standing militia.
6. People with revolutionary contributions as prescribed; veterans.
7. Incumbent National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels.
8. Children under 6 years old.
9. Relatives of martyrs and people who have contributed to raising martyrs according to regulations.
10. Relatives of people with revolutionary contributions, martyrs' wives or husbands who remarry or have another wife who are receiving monthly death benefits and related individuals according to regulations.
11. Relatives of the subjects specified in Point a and Point b of this Clause as prescribed by law.
12. People who have donated human organs according to the provisions of law.
13. Foreigners studying in Vietnam are granted scholarships from the Vietnamese State budget.
14. People from poor households; ethnic minorities from near-poor households residing in communes and villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; ethnic minorities residing in areas with difficult socio -economic conditions; people residing in areas with especially difficult socio-economic conditions; people living in island communes and island districts.
15. Retired commune, ward and town officials who are receiving monthly allowances from the state budget.
16. People who have stopped receiving disability benefits are receiving monthly benefits from the state budget.
17. People receiving monthly social allowances; people receiving monthly foster care allowances according to relevant laws; people receiving monthly death benefits who are eligible for social allowances .
18. People aged 75 and over who are receiving monthly pensions, people aged 70 to under 75 who are in near-poor households who are receiving monthly pensions.
19. People receiving monthly social pension benefits according to the provisions of the law on social insurance.
20. Employees who are not eligible for pension and are not yet old enough to receive social pension benefits are receiving monthly benefits according to the provisions of the law on social insurance.
Thus, the new Health Insurance Law, effective from July 1, adds 4 more groups to be supported. Including regular militia; people aged 75 and over who are receiving monthly pensions; and people aged 70 to under 75 from near-poor households who are also receiving pensions;
People who are receiving monthly social pension benefits according to the provisions of the law on social insurance. Employees who are not eligible for pension and are not old enough to receive social pension benefits but are still receiving monthly benefits./.
