After more than 1 year of practical verification at shrimp farms in Taiwan (China), Mebi One shrimp has met the development criteria and expectations of farm owners. On that basis, Kim Hoang Quang Nam Aquatic Breeding Joint Stock Company and its partner, YONG SING SEAFOODS CO., LTD, have reached an agreement and officially signed a commercial cooperation to develop Mebi One shrimp in the Taiwan (China) market.

At the signing ceremony, partner YONG SING SEAFOODS CO.,LTD placed an order for 2.5 million shrimp seeds worth 10 thousand USD, and in 2024 - 2025 the target is to reach 300 thousand USD. These are the first figures to create a turning point for Mebi One shrimp seeds to enter the demanding shrimp farming markets in Asia.
Kim Hoang Quang Nam officially entered the shrimp farming industry in 2024. Mebi One shrimp larvae are broodstock imported from the United States and developed in an environment with strict care and supervision from leading industry experts to ensure consistent output quality.
Mebi One shrimp is produced at Kim Hoang Quang Nam Aquatic Seed Joint Stock Company with a factory system invested in accordance with standards and synchronization, advanced, modern and closed production process on an area of 8.5 hectares in Binh Nam commune, Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province including 4.5 hectares for construction of shrimp seed production facility, 4 hectares for construction of auxiliary works and experimental area, technology transfer.
This includes a shrimp hatchery with an annual capacity of 5 billion shrimp larvae, with comprehensively invested infrastructure including an administration area, a base algae cultivation area, Artemia production area, and other related areas to support high-tech shrimp hatchery production.
The collaboration with YONG SING SEAFOODS CO.,LTD to promote the export of Mebi One shrimp larvae to the Taiwanese (China) market has created a significant step forward, marking a milestone in the success of this company's strategy to enter the international shrimp larvae market.

Mebi One shrimp seeds are high quality, disease-free, meeting the strict standards of the international market. In addition to providing shrimp seeds, Kim Hoang Quang Nam also provides technical advice on shrimp farming and supports commercial partners in promoting products related to the shrimp farming industry.

With confidence in the quality of Mebi One shrimp larvae and in the commercial capabilities of YONG SING SEAFOODS CO.,LTD, Kim Hoang Quang Nam believes that the economic cooperation between the two parties will be a resounding success and a solid stepping stone to conquering the global shrimp larvae market.
Currently, the country has over 2,100 shrimp seed production facilities, with an output of over 160 billion shrimp. Of which, Quang Nam has over 2,000 hectares of white-leg shrimp farming area, requiring over 3 billion shrimp seeds to meet production needs each year. Due to the large demand, Quang Nam has built and put into operation an Aquatic Seed Production and Inspection Area. In addition, the locality has created all favorable conditions to help businesses invest in and produce shrimp seeds.
In the cost structure of shrimp production, shrimp seed accounts for only 5-7%, but is the decisive factor in the success rate of shrimp farming. Experts say that sustainable shrimp industry development must start from shrimp seed. With the participation of businesses and the support of local authorities, Quang Nam is not only self-sufficient in disease-free whiteleg shrimp seed but also provides it to other localities and promotes shrimp seed export, bringing higher value to this industry.
