Selected from 300 applications, the contestants will live together in the final round's common house. Mr. Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, Head of the Miss Vietnam Organizing Committee, said that 99% of the finalists are students, university graduates, in which the majority of the contestants come from large, prestigious universities. The average age of the contestants is 21.3 years old.

According to Mr. Phung Cong Suong, the anthropometric results show harmonious beauty, many outstanding indicators including height reaching 1.8 m. Many candidates can speak 2-3 languages ​​fluently, many have talents such as singing, dancing, presenting...

Mr. Suong also said that this year's foreign language interview of Miss Vietnam is also special. Among the jury is a university lecturer who can speak 5 languages ​​fluently, who will directly interview the contestants.
