Reporting at the working session, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi said that the province had 7 targets achieved and exceeded the plan, in which the total state budget revenue increased by 20% compared to the plan assigned by the Central Government.
The groups of indicators on GRDP growth rate, the rate of public schools meeting national standards, and the rate of public investment disbursement are unlikely to complete the set plan.
Regarding natural disaster recovery, Lam Dong province suffered great damage to traffic infrastructure and crops after the recent floods.

Regarding traffic, Lam Dong has completed temporary landslide repair and reopened the Prenn Pass area on November 25; reopened the Mimosa Pass on November 30; and is expected to clear all 50,000 cubic meters of landslide-prone soil and rock at D'Ran Pass on December 10.
For National Highway 27C (Nha Trang - Da Lat), the landslide area of about 22,000 m3 has been cleared and the section passing through Lam Dong province was opened on the afternoon of November 28.

Regarding other key traffic routes that have experienced landslides and subsidence, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the relevant agencies to temporarily fix them to ensure traffic flow. In the long term, Lam Dong province will survey and comprehensively evaluate the mountain passes and terrain locations to calculate a solidification plan to limit landslides and impacts on traffic.
In the recent flood, Lam Dong province had 23 houses collapsed, moved, and washed away, requiring reconstruction. So far, the province has started construction on 7 new houses, the rest will be started as soon as possible, ensuring completion before January 15, 2026.
The number of households with damaged houses that need to be repaired is 51. The province has mobilized military, police, and youth forces to repair, restore, and ensure safe housing for people before December 30, 2025.
Lam Dong province estimated the total damage caused by floods from November 16 to December 5 to be over VND1,400 billion. The central government has supported Lam Dong province with VND570 billion to overcome the consequences of floods.
The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee proposed that the Government continue to support the local budget to restore and solidify traffic infrastructure; direct ministries and branches to survey and study the lake and dam system to help the province develop a long-term resettlement plan for people in low-lying areas; support people to extend debt repayments and restore high-tech agricultural production.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, solidarity and consensus of the Party Committee, government and people of Lam Dong province in socio-economic development, ensuring national security and defense, quickly overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, stabilizing people's psychology and restoring production.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested Lam Dong province to complete the construction of new houses for households whose houses were swept away or collapsed; repair houses damaged by floods in the spirit of the earliest possible day so that people can soon stabilize their lives; continue to count the damage caused by floods; review and promptly support households that are still hungry, ensuring that no one is left behind; support seeds and materials for people to fully restore agricultural production, especially flowers, fruits and vegetables; and ensure that all students return to school.

At the same time, the province needs to review the overall response, prevention and control of climate change, summarize and learn from the recent flood and rain prevention, prepare good scenarios, proactively and actively respond due to complicated weather developments; and develop plans to solidify infrastructure, especially key traffic routes.

Regarding dams, Lam Dong province needs to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment in reviewing flood discharge procedures and having a plan to reinforce the dam body.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested Lam Dong leaders to focus on directing efforts to complete at the highest level the goals and targets set for 2025, towards welcoming the 14th National Party Congress; promote exports, disburse public investment capital, especially key projects, considering this an important driving force, contributing to achieving the growth target assigned by the Government.
