5 important industries and fields for development orientation in the coming time

According to the Ninh Thuan Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, recently approved by the 11th Provincial People's Council at its 12th session: Development orientations for important sectors and fields include 5 clusters of sectors and fields: Energy, Renewable Energy; High-quality Tourism; Processing and Manufacturing Industry; High-tech Agriculture; Construction and Real Estate Business. Specifically:

* Energy and Renewable Energy: Focus on exploiting the potential and advantages of natural conditions such as sunshine and wind to develop solar power, onshore wind power, offshore wind power, LNG power, pumped storage hydropower, and new energy sources (hydrogen, tidal, biomass, etc.). Develop green hydrogen energy from the use of self-consumption and on-site renewable energy, aiming towards a green industry in line with commitments at COP26. Focus on developing a synchronized power transmission infrastructure to build Ninh Thuan into a national energy and renewable energy center.

* High-quality tourism: Developing the tourism industry in the direction of "Sustainable - Classy - Unique"; simultaneously developing traditional tourism and creating new, unique types of tourism in terms of climate, exploration, and creativity to become one of the key national tourism regions, a resort and experiential tourism destination for domestic and international tourists; an attractive, distinctive, and highly competitive destination, based on effectively exploiting existing tourism resource advantages and transforming limitations into unique tourism potential; focusing investment resources on developing the Ninh Chu National Tourist Area; making tourism services a key economic sector in accordance with Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU dated August 31, 2021, of the Provincial Party Committee on developing tourism as a key economic sector of the province.

* Processing and manufacturing industry: Develop processing and manufacturing industrial clusters linked to seaports and logistics in a modern, environmentally friendly, and green growth direction. Focus on developing supporting industries, heavy industries, metallurgical industries, processing industries for specialized products, and chemical production complexes after salt production to exploit the advantages of local renewable energy sources.

* Construction and Real Estate Business: Developing the construction industry to meet investment and construction needs, completing the infrastructure of urban and rural areas in a synchronized and modern manner, especially the basic technical infrastructure and essential social infrastructure, contributing to the rapid, efficient, and sustainable economic development of urban areas, improving the quality of life in urban areas, and ensuring that the basic needs for housing and social infrastructure for urban residents are met. Developing modern, green, smart, energy-efficient urban architecture that adapts to climate change, has its own identity, and preserves and promotes distinctive cultural elements. Developing a healthy, sustainable, and diverse real estate market with various types of residential, commercial, tourism , and industrial properties, etc., that meet market demands with good quality and reasonable prices; The application of technology in construction, management, and real estate business contributes to the modernization of the construction industry in general and the real estate market in particular in Ninh Thuan province, leading to its continuous development.

* High-tech agriculture: Developing high-tech agriculture contributes to restructuring the agricultural sector; developing modern, synchronized, high-productivity, high-quality agricultural production in the province with high economic value, environmentally friendly, effectively adapting to climate change, expanding consumer markets, and aiming for export.
