Runner-up Bui Thu Thuy competes in Miss World Tourism 2024

(Dan Tri) - On the morning of December 29, runner-up Bui Thu Thuy arrived at Noi Bai airport, departing for Guangzhou, China to compete in Miss Tourism World 2024.

Miss Tourism World 2024 will take place in China from December 30, 2024 to January 12, 2025.

Third runner-up at the Vietnam Fitness Supermodel 2023 contest - Bui Thu Thuy - represents Vietnam in this beauty contest.

Sharing before leaving for China, Bui Thu Thuy said: "I feel honored and proud to represent Vietnam in an international beauty contest. With such a great responsibility on my shoulders, I tell myself that I will try my best. I also hope that the two words "Vietnam" will be shouted out in the international arena with the highest position."

To prepare for this journey, the 10X beauty spent 2 months to improve her Chinese language. Besides, she also practiced catwalk, behavior, presentation skills...

According to Bui Thu Thuy, she will bring to the contest an outfit inspired by the Thai ethnic costume. The outfit is skillfully and meticulously designed with the highlight being the Ban flower petals, creating a work imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity.

"Since I was little, I have loved watching art shows and wanted to shine and perform on the big stage. And especially, when participating in the Miss World Tourism contest, I can promote the image, culture, and identity of my homeland to international friends, contributing to the strong development of Vietnamese tourism on the world map," she added.

The beauty also confided that she cherishes this opportunity because the contest helps her learn, improve herself and mature, and make a breakthrough in the future. With careful investment and preparation in all aspects, Thu Thuy is confident that she will make an impression and hopes to achieve good results at the Miss World Tourism 2024 contest.

Bui Thu Thuy (born 2003) is from Thai Binh , a student at the Central University of Art Education. In addition to studying at school, she also pursues artistic activities, taking on the role of photo model and advertising model for many famous brands.

In addition, Thu Thuy also played the female lead role in the MV "Nguoi don thu yeu ke don thu" by singer Dan Truong.

Possessing a lovely face and standard appearance, in 2023, the beauty from Thai Binh won the 3rd runner-up position at the Vietnam Fitness Supermodel contest.
