An Giang mobilizes people to voluntarily hand over wild animals

On December 2, PC03 Department of An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with the An Giang Provincial Forest Protection Department to inspect market areas and suspected locations of frequent wildlife trading in Rach Gia ward (An Giang province).

During the inspection process, the working group combined propaganda and mobilized businesses and people to strictly comply with legal regulations, not to hunt, captivity, buy or sell illegally wild animals and products from wild animals.

Through propaganda and mobilization, the business household Huynh Hoang Nguyen Chi Le, Thanh Yen hamlet, Thanh Loc commune (An Giang province) voluntarily handed over a number of wild animals. The working group made a record of receiving and handing over all these animals to Hon Me Wildlife Rescue Station for care, monitoring, and then carrying out procedures to release them back into the natural environment.

In the coming time, inspection, propaganda and mobilization activities will continue to be expanded throughout An Giang province, contributing to preventing violations, protecting wildlife and sustainably preserving biodiversity.
