Yamal currently has a huge following. |
During the Christmas and New Year period, the football jersey market enters its busiest phase. The choice of jersey as a gift largely depends on the recipient's personal taste, but in reality, players with global appeal, playing for major clubs, or having a strong influence on social media consistently dominate sales.
According to a report by Score 90 , the top-selling jersey in Europe in 2025 will be none other than Lamine Yamal. The Barcelona prodigy has sold 1.32 million jerseys, a figure that reflects the explosive appeal of this young star both on and off the pitch.
Following closely behind is Lionel Messi with 1.28 million shirts sold, even though the Argentine superstar has left Europe to play for Inter Miami in MLS. Third place goes to Robert Lewandowski, another Barcelona star, with 1.11 million shirts bearing his name sold this year.
In the next group, Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid) ranks fourth with 1.02 million shirts, followed by Vinicius Junior with 992,000. Notably, Cristiano Ronaldo – currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League – only ranks seventh with 925,000 shirts. The numbers are still impressive but no longer reflect the absolute dominance of the past.
Bruno Fernandes is the only Premier League player in the top 10, ranking eighth with 878,000 shirts sold, ahead of Harry Kane (Bayern Munich, 867,000 shirts). Rodrygo of Real Madrid rounds out the list with 798,000 shirts sold.
