Domestic coffee prices continue to fall.
Last week, domestic coffee prices fell sharply by 3,000 to 4,000 VND/kg. At the start of the week, today's coffee prices in key producing regions are being purchased at the following levels:
Dak Nong has the highest coffee price, reaching 99,500 VND/kg. Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap areas have prices of 99,400 VND/kg.
In Dak Lak (Cu M'gar), the price of coffee is 99,200 VND/kg. Ea H'leo and Buon Ho both have the same price of 99,100 VND/kg.
Lam Dong province (Di Linh, Lam Ha, Bao Loc) is buying coffee at 98,700 VND/kg.
In Gia Lai (Chu Prong, Pleiku, La Grai) and Kon Tum, the price of coffee is at the same level of 99,000 VND/kg.

World coffee prices continue to adjust downwards.
The global coffee market is also experiencing a gloomy trend as coffee prices continue to plummet.
Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange fell sharply in the latest trading session. The January 2026 contract decreased by $78/ton to $4,128/ton. The March 2026 contract decreased by $100/ton to $4,007/ton. For the week as a whole, Robusta January 2026 contracts fell by $167/ton.
Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange also fell sharply. The December 2025 contract dropped 8.25 cents/lb to 397.2 cents/lb. The March 2026 contract fell 6.9 cents/lb to 369.3 cents/lb. Overall for the week, Arabica for December 2025 delivery decreased by 9.05 cents/lb.
The main reason for the drop in coffee prices is the pressure from the large supply of the new crop being harvested. In addition, the market has passed its peak period in preparation for the year-end holiday season, causing demand to slow down.
In key coffee-growing regions across the country, sunny weather is prevailing, creating favorable conditions for harvesting. Many farmers have taken advantage of this to harvest their crops and compensate for the prolonged rainy season.
Although the harvesting process has been favorable due to the weather, some areas, such as Lam Dong, are experiencing unusual phenomena as they enter the final stages of the harvest. Due to prolonged and erratic weather patterns, many coffee plantations have bloomed prematurely, with white flowers appearing in the middle of the season.
Normally, the rainy season in the Central Highlands ends in late November. However, the prolonged rain into early December has caused many coffee plantations to flower before the previous crop could be harvested. While early flowering is not uncommon, this year's early flowering is the earliest recorded in many years. When coffee plants flower, many farmers are forced to temporarily halt harvesting to protect the flowers, avoiding any impact on the growth cycle and the price of coffee in the following crop year. Even so, farmers predict that if the weather is favorable, this phenomenon will not affect yield and they may be able to harvest earlier in the next crop year.
