During the "Quang Trung Campaign," the 34th Army Corps mobilized 700 officers and soldiers to assist the people of Gia Lai province in overcoming the consequences of floods and heavy rains, focusing on building 64 houses and repairing many damaged ones. Currently, officers and soldiers from the Corps' agencies and units are accelerating construction progress to help affected households stabilize their lives as soon as possible.

At the visited locations, Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh directly listened to reports from unit commanders on the progress and results of the task of building and repairing houses for the people. The Commander of the 34th Army Corps commended the sense of responsibility, the will to overcome difficulties and hardships, the efforts and high determination of the officers and soldiers who are directly participating in supporting the people in overcoming the consequences of the floods.
Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh requested that units continue to thoroughly understand the spirit of "serving the people," uphold the traditions of Uncle Ho's soldiers; promote the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, and creativity in organizing and implementing tasks; closely coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, and relevant forces; take care of the material and spiritual lives of officers and soldiers; strictly maintain discipline in civilian affairs, build close military-civilian relations; ensure the safety and quality of construction projects, and strive to complete them ahead of schedule.

On this occasion, Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh visited and encouraged several families facing particularly difficult circumstances, whose houses were destroyed in the recent floods.
On December 17th, the 34th Army Corps is scheduled to hand over the first house built as part of the "Quang Trung Campaign" to the family of Ms. Ngo Thi Sua (Chanh Hoi village, Ngo May commune, Gia Lai province). The project is being completed more than a month ahead of schedule.
