Three Miss Vietnam reunite, "compete in beauty" in modernized ao dai

(Dan Tri) - This is a rare occasion that 3 Miss Vietnam including Ky Duyen, Tieu Vy and Thanh Thuy took a photo shoot in ao dai together.

Kỳ Duyên, Tiểu Vy, and Thanh Thủy all originated from the Miss Vietnam pageant, with Kỳ Duyên crowned in 2014, Tiểu Vy in 2018, and Thanh Thủy in 2022. Over the years, these beauty queens have maintained their enduring appeal to the audience.

Recently, Ky Duyen, Tieu Vy, and Thanh Thuy have also been attracting the attention of the audience. Miss Tieu Vy has just returned from a trip to Hanoi to participate in a parade with artists from the Culture and Sports sector at the A80 grand ceremony (commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd).

Meanwhile, Miss Thanh Thuy has been constantly traveling abroad for work. After her trip to Myanmar, she continued her journey to promote the image of Vietnam at an exhibition in Japan at the invitation of the Department of International Cooperation - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism .

Miss Ky Duyen also attracted attention with many changes after returning from the Miss Universe 2024 competition. During a rare reunion, all three took a photoshoot together wearing modernized ao dai designs, against a backdrop of lotus flowers.

The photoshoot contributes to celebrating the traditional beauty of Vietnamese clothing while also bringing a modern touch. The outfits are part of designer Linh San's collection, scheduled to be showcased on September 30th in Ho Chi Minh City. The designs utilize a vibrant color palette ranging from fuchsia pink, cobalt blue, turquoise to lemon yellow.

The phoenix and crane motifs are exquisitely hand-embroidered on silk and brocade fabrics. The design's highlight lies in the layered arrangement on the chest and shoulders, creating a unique yet classic look that retains the traditional ao dai silhouette.
